Gotta see it - Golden Knights Surpise Phil Kessel With a Funny Cake
Earlier in the NHL's off-season people were wondering if Phil Kessel would be playing hockey come this time, due to him being a free agent and at the age of 35, was there really much interest for Phil on the market?
Kessel currently holds the NHL's longest active iron man streak, meaning he has the most consecutive games played without missing a single one, Kessel has played 982 straight games without a single absence, and is just 7 games away from being the iron man of NHL history!
Throughout his iron man journey Kessel got to enjoy a Stanley Cup in a Pittsburgh Penguins jersey, which came with a funny celebration with the cup! That celebration was not the typical poutine, or a bottle of champagne poured into the cup, it was a hotdog?
That photo has surfaced the internet for years since, but we now have another hot dog Phil The Thrill meme! And it got delivered on Kessel's 35th birthday that just passed.
A rare W' for the Vegas Golden Knights and Kessels teammate for coming up with the hot dog cake idea, this one will be a meme for years to come!
