Even though the Penguins lost their Thursday night game to the Hurricanes, they made it to OT, which gave them (and Jarry) a point, extending his streak to 14. That ties him with none other than Marc-André Fleury, for second longest goalie point streak in the Penguins' history. Plus, the number one spot, which is held by Tom Barrasso from the 1992-93 season, is only one win away. The tie is actually a 3-way tie, as Fleury first took over second from Ken Wregget in his 2006-07 season , then tied himself in the 2010-11 season.
In last night's game, Jarry made 32 of 36 saves, but was unfortunately beaten by a wrist shot from Jacob Slavin (assisted by Seth Jarvis and Brent Burns) 23 seconds into overtime.
