The Emmy-nominated series "Places Universe" returns in 2023 with a new hockey show hosted by P.K. Subban. Peyton Manning was the first host of the series a few years ago. In his new show, "P.K.'s Places," former Norris Trophy winner P.K. Subban will try to provide more insight on the sport. He also wants to show some personalities in hockey that are often hidden from the public. The first episode of his new television show will be on ESPN + in May 2023
Here is what Subban had to say about his new project:
«Anything I stamp my name on, I want to be heavily involved,» Subban said. «This is important. This is something that I take very seriously and telling stories and I want to shine the best light on hockey and pull out as much of the rich history of the game that I can and share that with our fan base and share that with the fans that don't know a whole lot about the game of hockey. Everything that we're trying to do is to grow the game.»
This summer, Subban announced his retirement. The Toronto-born player was looking for a new contract this summer, but it did not materialize. In his career, the 33-year-old defensive player played for the Montreal Canadiens, Nashville Predators, and New Jersey Devils. In 834 games, he scored 115 goals and 467 points. In June 2016, he was traded for Shea Weber in a blockbuster deal.
