Much has been made about Patrick Kane's trade to the New York Rangers this past deadline in which can the Rangers come together in time to make a deep playoff run with all these new superstars they have.
After a slow start in game one, the former Blackhawks superstar showed the world the reason why the New York Rangers coveted him so much. He dazzled the mixed crowd of Devils and Rangers fans with a goal and two assists.
There was never a doubt in my mind that Kane would make a major difference to the Rangers as this man is too talented not to have an impact. Also plain under the spotlight of the New York Rangers fan base and their love for the team can put that added pressure on a new player.
Kane had played 19 games of this regular season with the Rangers and had five goals with seven assists for 12 points and a plus-one. After game two in the playoffs, he has one goal in three assists for four points.
The series now switches gears and goes back over the Hudson into New York City for game three will be tomorrow night on Saturday, April 22nd. Game time will be at 8:00 PM.
