Patrick Maroon offers some great advice to kids.
Growing up in Canada, one of the greatest moments that could happen for any child who loves the game of hockey is to meet in NHL in person and get to ask him a few questions. No matter which team he plays for it's always an honour to meet a player of the game and learn a little bit about him.
That happened when lightning forward Patrick Maroon was on the ice with several young kids who are playing hockey. He offered some pretty great advice to the young players.
Maroon has had a successful run in his career and has won three Stanley Cups with two NHL teams in both conferences.
His first came when he won with the St Louis Blues in 2019 and then with the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2020 and 2021.
Maroon's style of play is designed for playoff hockey. His physical play and defensive play have helped both these teams win their Cups. He has become a player that is sought out by other teams who want to acquire his services. Tampa's had the luxury of having him with their team for the last four years.
During his NHL career, the 35-year-old forward has played 729 games and has scored 117 goals with 171 assists for 288 points. He has 930 penalty minutes.
