After Wednesday's game against the Oilers, Blackhawks forward Tyler Johnson was seen still wearing a boot on his left foot. This horrible news could indicate that Johnson is further away from a return than we think...
On Oct. 25, the Chicago Blackhawks placed Tyler Johnson on injured reserve because of his left ankle. In the game against the Florida Panthers, Johnson got tangled up along the boards with Panthers captain Aleksander Barkov on the boards early in the third period and needed help getting to the locker room. He did not return.
Chicago center Tyler Johnson has 6 points in 6 games this season, including 2 goals. It will be interesting to see where he fits into the Hawks lineup when he returns.
