The Chicago Blackhawks faced off against the Minnesota Wild in a heated matchup on Sunday night, where the Hawks were in search for their second win out of four game this preseason. The Wild on the other hand, were looking to go four for four, as they were coming into this matchup red hot with 3 wins and zero losses.

The Blackhawks and Wild both dressed a half-NHL roster, meaning lots of players were not in the lineup and will be used for their teams upcoming next preseason game. The Blackhawks went with a few top prospects on defense such as Kevin Korchinski, Alex Vlasic and others.

The veterans on the back end (defense) were brothers Seth and Caleb Jones, and Caleb sadly had a rough night.

The Jones brothers play the game of hockey at a high level, Caleb decided to step up in the play to retrieve a puck and sadly it ended quite badly for him. It seems as if it is a shoulder injury, and could the hit have possibly separated it? He .left the game and did not come back.

The Blackhawks did not reveal any news on Jones's injury, and we will continue to provide updates moving forward.
