This next season looks somewhat grim for the Chicago Blackhawks, however, it may be a beautiful future.
Though he won't join the team right away, Frank Nazar continues to impress with fast development. The University of Michigan center hasn't averaged under a point per game since before he was a teenager. Expect him to play a big time roll in the future.
Also still in college, Drew Commesso has experienced a stint in the Olympics to compliment his first season at Boston University last season. Expect Drew to need a season or 2 in Rockford, but he could be the next big thing between the pipes for Chicago.
Last we come to a guy who could make the team this season. Lukas Reichel has been a stand out while with Rockford. A point per game in his first AHL stint, and a step faster than the competition. Lukas has all the makings of Kane's next linesmate.
