Taylor Hall: Is it a Miracle On Ice? The winger was day to day all along and will be returning to the ice Friday

Luke Richardson reported that Taylor Hall told the head coach that he is a miracle healer. After receiving a devastating hit from Brandon Carlo two days ago, the winger is back at work.

The impression given by Richardson was that Hall would be away week-to-week rather than day-to-day.

«He told us he was a miracle fast healer," Richardson said. "I didn't know what that meant, but surprised to see him on the ice this early. He said he feels better. We just want to let him settle down for a day or two and see how that looks tomorrow.

In fact, the winger who started the season to the left of Connor Bedard was at practice in Brossard, Quebec, on Friday.

Though he practiced on Friday, it seems unlikely that the winger will play against the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday, while Bedard makes his NHL debut on Hockey Night In Canada.

Hall was acquired from the Boston Bruins with Nick Foligno on June 26th, just two days before Connor Bedard was selected first overall in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. In 2017, Hall won the Hart Trophy, and the Edmonton Oilers drafted him in the first round in 2010.

Lukas Reichel will take over Hall's power-play duties on Saturday, while Taylor Raddysh will fill Hall's 1st line spot.
