BetOnline has released its odds to win the Calder Trophy, which is awarded to the rookie of the year. It comes as no surprise, both to myself and to anyone familiar with this tweet, that Connor Bedard of the Chicago Blackhawks is the odds-on favourite to win the trophy.
While Bedard takes the top spot, other notable names in the top five also make sense given their rankings in the draft. Bedard is expected to have an outstanding season as he embarks on his journey as the new leader of the Blackhawks.
