WATCH: Bedard's Goal Scored but Sadly Overturned
The Blackhawks are playing the Boston Bruins as apart of the NHL's Frozen Frenzy, where all 16 NHL teams play.
Well, Bedard is showing out, scoring a beautiful one time goal which would have been his third. However, the goal was called back on a coaches challenge that saw Andreas Athanasiou go offside.
It was so close. Just the matter of the heel and maybe a quarter of the puck.
It does add to the ongoing discussion of whether or not coaches should be allowed to challenge after a certain time limit, though. The goal happened 30 seconds after they crossed the blue line. It'll be interesting to see if there is a time limit added in the future.
