During today's morning skate the Chicago Blackhawks announced that they have called up goaltender Jaxson Stauber, who has yet to play in an NHL game. Stauber has struggled with the Blackhawks minor league affiliate, the Rockford Ice Hogs, so it's very odd to see Stauber called up and not one of the two goalies succeeding in Rockford- another reason proving the Blackhawks don't want to win.
The issue with this is the Blackhawks have not announced the corresponding roster move, as they'll be forced to make since they are now over the roster limit. It seems as if one of Petr Mrazek or Alex Stalock has been injured, which is not good news at all.
