Blackhawks announce new numbers for the new arrivals
Last week, the Chicago Blackhawks made some significant trades during the start of free agency. They acquired Nick Foligno, Corey Perry, and Taylor Hall to enhance their team.
Taylor Hall's arrival will benefit Connor Bedard, who will be joining the team soon. Hall's move to the Hawks surprised many as he was not expected to leave due to his NTC.
Foligno is a tough player who stands up for his team both on and off the ice. His addition will provide extra protection for Bedard, and Corey Perry will continue to entertain with his on-ice antics.
The veteran players will retain their jersey numbers, with Corey Perry wearing 94, Nick Foligno wearing 17, and Taylor Hall wearing 71.
Ryan Donato will now wear jersey number 8, after previously wearing 17 with the Bruins, 6 with the Wild, 16 with the Sharks, and 9 with the Kraken.
Jason Dickinson will switch his jersey number from 17 to 16 with the arrival of Nick Foligno and will wear the same number he previously wore with the Dallas Stars.
