Former Chicago Blackhawk Artemi Panarin has set a new Rangers record in the early stages of the 2022 NHL season. Breadman now has the most points through the first four games in New York Rangers history. He has recorded 10 points with 2 goals and 8 assists.
Since his arrival in New York, Panarin has made all Blackhawks scratch their head wondering how in the world we let this guy go. Especially with the chemistry that him and Kaner had. In case you forgot what that looked like on the ice, take a look here:
Looking back at the way those two played, even though he was only one player, it really makes you think if ultimately his presence could've prevented the Blackhawks current situation. Additionally, if Kane decides he wants out and we make a trade for him, one has to think the Rangers will for sure be one of teams calling. And I think I speak for all Blackhawks fans when I say as happy as we would be for Kane, that would definitely tug at the heart strings seeing those two together on the ice again in different sweaters.
