Fans think Gary Bettman needs to talk to Coach Q
If you share your thoughts on social media, you may gain interesting insights from polls and reactions, but not necessarily scientific results.
Twitter is a popular platform where you can express your views, participate in polls, and get a sense of public opinion. Recently, a poll was conducted asking hockey fans if Gary Bettman should have a conversation with Stan Bowman or Joel Quenneville after the Kyle Beach incident.
Interestingly, the poll revealed that fans were more inclined to forgive Quenneville than Bowman. 63% of respondents believed that Bettman should talk to Quenneville while only 38% thought he should talk to Bowman.
Both Quenneville and Bowman resigned in 2021 following the scandal. Quenneville, known for his winning record of 696-572-77-150 (OTL) in 1,768 games over 25 seasons, spent 11 seasons in Chicago before leaving. Bowman, on the other hand, traded away many talented forwards he had drafted, including Alex DeBrincat, Philip Danault, Teuvo Teravainen, Kevin Hayes, Brandon Saad, Nick Schmaltz, and Ryan Hartman.
Overall, social media can provide valuable insights, but it's important to recognize that these insights may not be scientifically accurate.
