Pat Foley spent 40 years calling games, from the AHL Timberwolves to the Chicago Blackhawks, and he poured his heart out into each and every 82-game season he took part in.
The Chicago Born-Native really enjoyed his time calling for the Blackhawks, and the fans did as well. Sadly, this past season was Foley's last with the Blackhawks organization, and also with the NHL in general, Foley put the mic down after 40 years of broadcasting. Sadly with the departure of Pat Foley, the Blackhawks wanted to start fresh, and did not give a fair offer to Eddie Olczyk who was in the broadcast booth with Foley.
