Among the most successful eras of the Chicago Blackhawks' history will be those of the 2010s. Chicago's management assembled some of the greatest teams available, and they achieved the remarkable feat of winning three Stanley Cups in less than ten years. One player, in particular, who played a pivotal role in their success was Hawks superstar Marian Hossa.
Hossa's career was illustrious even before he arrived in the Windy City. He was originally drafted by the Ottawa Senators in 1997 and subsequently spent time with the Thrashers, Penguins, Red Wings, and, of course, the Blackhawks.
Recent reports indicate that he was spotted on a flight heading back to Chicago, accompanied by his friend and agent, Peter Neveris. Brian Campbell is also returning to the Blackhawks in a player development role.
Now he's back! With another former Blackhawks.
Marián Hossa is at Blackhawks practice sitting with Brian Campbell, Norm Maciver, and GM Kyle Davidson
When his career concluded with the Blackhawks in 2017, he had played 1,309 games, scoring 525 goals with 609 assists, accumulating a total of 11,134 points. He boasted a plus-minus rating of +245 and accrued 628 penalty minutes.
