Jonathan Toews Looked Like a Lost Puppy in Blackhawks 6-0 Loss
In case you needed a reminder Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane are both heading into their sixteenth NHL season, yes, 16, making that 17 plus years for the iconic duo that once erupted the city of Chicago.
As time is ticking, so are injuries, well not for Patrick Kane but more so Jonathan Toews specifically. Toews plays the game at a grittier pace than Kane, as a centerman Toews is required to get into the gritty areas, and get in front of those slap shots for a block, where Kane plays the wing and avoids contact at any given time. For instance, Kane threw a whopping eleven hits throughout his 82 game season last year.
As of late Toews looks oddly out of place, and unsure of his whereabouts. As shown below Toews looks quite lost
It is just a preseason game, but Is Toews's passion for the game slowly fading away? Or are his injuries taking a toll on him?
