Kyle Davidson Comments On His Decision of Trading Away Two Blackhawks Last Week
The Blackhawks made some trades that some thought were questionable last week after Beaudin and Barratt were shipped out for weaker talent.
After a question from Ben Pope of the Sun-Times, Davidson gave a class act response as to why the front office made the move:
Kyle Davidson came in here with the plan to rebuild, but he deserves some respect for acknowledging that certain players just weren't a part of the rebuild and deserve a fresh opportunity.
One thing we can take away from the trades is that Davidson is always going to be active. He has made a good amount of trades in his short time as the Hawks' gm, and it doesn't seem like he is ever not looking to what the next move can be.
