Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews recently played their 1,000th game together, and has already made cemented themselves as one of the best duos in NHL history.
The Blackhawks won their first game in two months yesterday against the Columbus Blue Jackets, and the Captain and Alternate Captain was a huge part of that.
Toews and Kane both had three points, and also had one goal and two assists each. They also connected for a nice tic-tac-toe goal with Domi starting it, Kane setting it up, and Toews finishing it. Patrick was awarded second star of the game, while Jonathan got the first.
Toews has been good all season, but Kane has had a slow start. He has only four goals all season long before this game and only 22 points, not like him. This could be a start of something good for him and is a huge burden lifted off of his shoulders.
It was a great game for the Hawks, but they are still last place in the league.
