NHL GM Has Uncencored Comments Towards Bettman's Recent Announcement
There has been a lot of talk surrounding the NHL's salary cap for teams next season. We are in an age where players are starting to get paid more, just like in other major pro sports, but Bettman isn't raising the cap much.
Well, now Bettman has announced that they will be raising the cap by $1M next season, but does that even do anything?
One NHL GM had some strong comments regarding the salary cap situation. Though, it is not known exactly which GM said these remarks, I can almost guarantee that he is in favor with the majority of GMs around the league.
There are so many teams that are struggling with the salary cap right now because players want more money, but the teams just don't have the space to give that money.
Raising the cap space by $1M doesn't do anything but give teams room to call up a guy from the AHL if they need to.
