Matthew Tkachuk was traded to the Florida Panthers, in what was one of the biggest trades. Two 100+ point players involved, including Jonathan Huberdeau, and of course Tkachuk. These are the trade details:

Calgary Flames Receive: Jonathan Huberdeau, MacKenzie Weegar, Cole Schwindt, and a 2025 1st
Florida Panthers Receive: Matthew Tkachuk and 2025 4th

Alex DeBrincat was traded at the NHL Entry Draft, and Blackhawks fans weren't happy with the return. Why couldn't Kyle Davidson get a return like that for the Cat? He didn't surpass 100 points last season, but he had 41 goals and was just entering his prime. Trade details:

Chicago Blackhawks Receive: 1st round pick, 2nd round pick, and 2024 4th
Ottawa Senators Receive: Alex DeBrincat

The Hawks selected Kevin Korchinski with the 7th pick in the draft, and Paul Ludwinski at #39. Kevin Korchinski is a 18 year old defenseman from the Seattle Thunderbirds. He had 0 points in 2019, 10 in 2020, and made a huge leap and had 65 points this season. Paul Ludwinski is 18 years old and is a center from the Kingston Frontenacs. He had 32 points with the Toronto Marlboros in 2020, and had 43 points with the Frontenacs. The Hawks made good use with the picks they got from Ottawa, but I'm still feeling like we didn't get enough, compared to how much Calgary got for Matthew Tkachuk. The DeBrincat trade keeps looking better and better for the Senators, as for the amount franchise players are getting shipped off for now.
