Chicago Blackhawks head coach Luke Richardson has announced that newly signed Max Domi will be put on the same line as Patrick Kane to start camp. Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun Times broke the news on twitter saying "Luke Richardson says he's going to put Max Domi and Patrick Kane on a line together to start camp. He thinks they have good chemistry and Domi's speed will complement Kane well."
Assuming things go well with this during camp, we very well could see those two on the same line on opening night in Colorado.
Pope also tweeted about Richardson giving out coaching assignments for the season. His tweet said quote "Luke Richardson says Kevin Dean will run the defense and PK, Derek Plante will run the PP and Derek King and himself will handle game prep."
Pretty cool to see Derek King will still have a pretty meaningful role behind the bench this season. It is certainly deserved for the job he came in and did. He walked into a straight up circus last season, and considering those circumstances, he didn't do half bad.
