One thing that was heavily criticized during the Montreal Canadiens latest regime was Marc Bergevin and his management were very private keeping the media at bay as much as possible.
Things appeared to change with the hiring of Jeff Gorton as the new Executive Vice President of Hockey Operations. Gorton would Hire Kent Hughes as the new General Manager and Chantal Machabée as the new vice-president of communications and was the word transparency was how things would be handled now in Montreal.
However, things are starting to change and the Canadiens have been censored specifically one of the most important parts players' salaries.
Apparently the Montreal Canadiens haven't discussed or disclosed any salaries in the latest signings from Canadiens GM Kent Hughes.
To censor this information, is very important and makes you wonder what they are hiding? Even CapFriendly doesn't appreciate this new way of doing things on the organization's side sending out this tweet. With the club being so tight on cap with just over $200,000 left- are they hiding a trade to make cap space, to announce the new salaries of management? Stay tuned..
