Former Blackhawks forward Dylan Strome has had a career in the NHL that I would rank as underwhelming. The former third overall choice in the 2015 entry draft was touted to be one of the next big centers in the league and was expected to be dominant throughout his time.
He has played for three NHL organizations, including the Blackhawks, in his eight seasons. Over the course of those seasons, he struggled with injuries and had a hard time putting together a full season.
During his time with the Blackhawks, his career began to realign and show more of the promise that he was supposed to bring to the league.
This offseason has seen a rash of new births of children from NHL stars. Strome is one of them, as he recently became a father for the second time with his wife Tayler.
Their new daughter, Emerson Ryan Strome, was born, and the family is over the moon with their new addition. We want to wish the Strome family all the best with their new addition to their lives.
