Touching Moment at Hawks Game When 9-Year Old Austin Antell Rings Bell After Beating Cancer
On Thursday night, the Hawks beat the Kings 2-1 in OT for their annual "Hockey Fights Cancer" night.
The Hawks rocked their "Hockey Fights Cancer" jerseys for warmups, and looked slick doing so.
It wasn't their warmup jerseys, or the the Hawks' OT win that were the star of the night. The star of the game was 9-year old, Austin Antell.
During a break in the game, every soul in the building was on their feet, as Austin was able to ring his remission bell in front of the UC faithful.
Austin is such a fighter for having beaten non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. This was awesome to see, as Austin had his friends and family surrounding him for this touching moment.
