Major Announcements regarding tonights Blackhawks lineup against the Buffalo Sabres

After Petr Mrazek helped secure a Blackhawks victory against the San Jose Sharks, his 3 game stint, saw him win against the Oilers as well, but come up short against the Flames.

His 2-2-0 record this season isn't ideal, but that's why he needs rest to recuperate and let the youngsters get some reps.

As Arvid Soderblom who looks better during the beginning of this season, will get a shot against the Buffalo Sabres tonight, who haven't looked like themselves the last few years.

Instead of the firebrand they once were, under Lindy Ruff, they seemed to have regressed.

Also drawing into tonight, will be center Ryan Donato, and Andreas Athanasiou will find themselves ready to contribute tonight.

To which we hope Donato comes back with a vengeance and puts one on Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen who has won the starting job in Buffalo.

Ryan Donato played 3 games this season for the Blackhawks and has scored 1 point. While Andreas Athanasiou will need to show the team he's ready to contribute tonight with a goal, or an assist.

According to DailyFaceOff Ryan Donato will slot in on RW3, and Andreas Athanasiou will slot in on LW4 position.

Soderblom has played one game for the Blackhawks this season, and despite the loss has a 1.98 GAA, and a .943 save percentage. He'll have another shot to prove his reliability against the Sabres tonight.

The Sabres are the new losers in the NHL, with a 1-4-1 record, and are 7th in the tough Atlantic Division.

But don't count them out yet, as they have some weapons in Rasmus Dahlin, Tage Thompson, and Alex Tuch.

But can Lindy Ruff find a way to beat the Blackhawks who are coming off a solid victory at the United Center?
