The Daily Faceoff posted on their Instagram page the predicted Norris Trophy winners in the next ten years. Well, there's a familiar face on the list.
Kevin Korchinski is predicted to win the Norris Trophy in the year of 2023. Kevin Korchinski was drafted 7th overall in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. Right now, Kevin is 18 years old, he'll be 28 the year that he's projected to win the trophy.
Korchinski is expected to play this preseason, but it is unknown whether he will play in the regular season. Maybe a ten game trial. Last season, Korchinski won the WHL Championship with fellow prospect Colton Dach on the Seattle Thunderbirds. Kevin had 11 goals and 62 assists, tallying up to 73 points in 54 games.
He has a bright future ahead of him on the Blackhawks.
